I am doing a master degree (MA Digital Technology, communication and Education) for the year 2008/2009.
I think my desire to learn about new and emerging technologies and explore them deeply specially in the educational context is what motivates me. I prefer the practical part of the course and it’s the novelty for me beside I am not that into theories. Although they interest me when they add perspective to what I learn. You might guess that this is my first experience in blogging. And this is my first entry. I am enthusiastic to learn more about it!! I'm worried though about having a constant feed of ideas, material and inspiration for new entries. Another worrisome matter is that if I were to express myself freely and honestly I will collide with legions of convention out there in the cyberspace. And being the opinionated person I am, who is not always conventional will be impossible for me to avoid the awkwardness of expressing my opinion especially that I'm not blogging anonymously. Thus I might be judged by people I know. Not that I'm afraid of their opinions but I'll be giving away some of me and I'm just not that interested in a social and cultural stir. But anyways it will eventually come up in conversations so why not have it here.
Well, I hope to broaden my knowledge and gain new skills for life and how to form an opinion more responsibly now that its attached to my name.
